More About True Tone

Hi, my name is Craig Howie.

My wife Jennifer and I founded True Tone Piano Services after struggling to tune our family piano. We also own a guitar business, Howie Guitars, and I have been a professional luthier since 2015. With this background, I thought I could figure out how to tune our piano, but after many frustrating attempts I realized that tuning and caring for a piano requires a true professional. I finally decided to enroll in The Piano Technician Academy and through the academy, I became a certified piano technician, (CPT).

On a deeper level, we love our work with True Tone because we know we are helping our community create music. In our family, music is a way of life. We are all musicians, and we believe music brings people together in a way that nothing else can. With that in mind, our mission is to help enrich our community’s culture one piano at a time.
